Visitor FAQs
Can you tell me where my apartment is located?
If you book hrough us then you will know exactly where your accommodation is located, what it looks like and what the apartment features in the way of amenities. All of our adverts carry have multiple photos of the exact accommodation you will be staying in. We can do this because we are an independent broker working directly with the accommodation owners. We sell named units where the location and full specification of each apartment and villa is known at the time of booking. We look after you throughout the booking process until such time as we hand your booking over to the agent looking after your accommodation on the resort. If you did not book through us, i.e. you booked through tour operators, other brokers or independent travel agents then we simply do not know where you will be staying on the resort. You will therefore need to speak with your travel agent regarding such arrangements although I suspect that you will be allocated accommodation on arrival. |
Are you ABTA / ATOL bonded?
Only tour operators, agents and airlines are ABTA / ATOL bonded. We act as a conduit between you and the owner of the property of the accommodation you are booking helping to ensure that your booking is professionally handled and your accommodation secured for the dates you book. Your contract therefore exists in its entirity with the owner of the accommodation and their managing agents. Having said this, we operate a fair bookings policy whereby your booking and payment is safeguarded should you have to cancel because of transport disruption or cancellation. This allows us to look after your interests should you need to make a claim against ABTA or ATOL for all or part of your travel costs.
Is there a beach at the resort?
The resort shares a private beach club with sister resorts Turquoise, Lakeside garden and Royal Heights. This newly completed beach club comprises of a restaurant, cafe-bar, raised decking, sandy and grassy areas. The beach can be reached by foot, car, bus and mono-rail. Located at the base of Royal Heights, guests can also enjoy the hospitality of the Royal Heights resort which offers additional restaurants and leisure facilities. Either side of the beach club are additional beach areas some of which offer facilities such as sun beds and snack bars. The terrain and tidal nature of the Tuzla Lake peninsula is not ideal for huge expanses of sand so the majority of the beach areas are man-made. Nonetheless, the area offers wonderful leisure facilities and amazing views including some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
Do I need to hire a car?
During the summer months a regular dolmush (bus) will take you to Bodrum Town where you can get buses to every corner of the peninsula. The cost is just a few Turkish Lira per person. However, if you want total flexability and be able to come and go as you wish, we recommend hiring a car for some or all of your stay. There are some wonderful places to explore on the Bodrum peninsula and all are accessible by car or bus.
Is everything free at the resort?
The majority of the amenities available at the resort are free for you to use. There are however some exceptions these being the 6-hole practice golf course, the beauty / massage parlour and the restaurant / cafe bar. Free WiFi is provided in the clubhouse. All of the pools, including the indoor pool are free to use, as are the tennis and basketball courts, fitness room, sauna and turkish bath.
I want to play golf. Where is the nearest course?
The closest golf course to the resort is Vita Park Golf Resort which is just 5 minutes away by car. Vita Park is currently the only major golf venue on the Bodrum peninsula. It offers two championship level courses - a par -72 mountain course and a par-71 links style course. Pay and Play is available at Vita Park Golf Resort as is tuition and practice ranges. Our own resort also offers its own 6-hole practice course to get you in the mood for playing at Vita Park Golf Resort.
Can I book just a couple of days stay?
During the peak season months of June through September we recommend owners only accept bookings of seven nights or more. We do this because the costs associated with the accommodation for very short durations of 2 - 4 nights often make the booking unecconomic for the owner. Out of peak season we can accept bookings for short term bookings and long weekends - typically 3 - 4 nights. This is particularly beneficial to golfers and bird wtchers who want to visit the area for golf and nature tours. If in doubt, please give us a call on 0117 230 2966. We will be glad to help.
Do you offer last minute deals?
Yes, we have a last minute booking system in place which offers an additional discount for accommodation booked between 10 and 7 days of arrival at the resort. We cannot generally accept bookings within 7 days of arrival due to the time it takes to ensure the accommodation is ready and available for occupation but if you have an last minute enquiry then please contact us on 0117 230 2966 and we will do what we can to help.
Do you offer discounts?
Wherever possible we try to help you make the decision to come to the resort for your next holiday as easy as possible. We offer a discount of 10% on stays of twelve (12) nights or longer as well as additional discounts for stays over three (3) weeks. We can also offer discounts where multiple properties are booked for durations longer than 12 nights. If you are considering the resort for your next holiday and would like to discuss your accommodation needs in more detail then please feel free to call us on 0117 230 2966, or if you use skype, contact us on letstalkturkey. We are here to help.
Can I book more than one apartment / villa?
No problem. We can easily cater for large groups and for extended families by offering apartments grouped together. Because we have so many properties on our books we can offer unrivelled flexibility with regards finding the best solution for your needs. If you want to discuss the options available to you then please give us a call on 0117 230 2966.
Are your prices per person?
No, the prices shown on the website are per apartment not per person. When you make a booking you will simply be asked to choose the dates you require the accommodation for and the number of people travelling. The cost of your booking will then be calculated on the rate and duration e.g. £25 per night x 12 nights = £300 in total. This is the amount you will be asked to pay irrespective of whether you are travelling alone or you have the maximum occupancy for that accommodation. As such, the resort offers excellent value for large groups and families.
What are your payment terms?
Our payment terms are 50% with initial booking with the balance falling due 45 days prior to arrival at the resort. You can elect to pay using:

What happens if my flight is delayed?
If your flight delay is less than 72 hours then your booking will be held open for the same duration and dates as booked. If your flight is delayed for longer than 72 hours then we may, at your request, be able to move your booking back to accommodate these delays or we may offer you alternative accommodation for the new dates. We cannot be held responsible for significant delays by carriers. The responsibility for delays lies with the airlines involved and the tour / travel operators you booked through. Our responsibility starts and ends with the supply of booked accommodation and we will, wherever possible, work with you to ensure that your holiday is not unduly compromised. You should ensure that you have travel insurance in place to cover all such eventualities.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is clearly shown in our booking terms and conditions. If you cancel your booking up to and including 45 days prior to departure you forfeit 20% of the total paid to cover adminstration costs and charges. The balance will be returned to you. If you cancel within 45 days of departure then the whole booking fee is retained to cover our costs and charges. If for any reason your holiday is cancelled due to flight / travel disruption and you make a successful claim against ABTA / ATOL then have the choice of having either 80% of your paid up booking fee returned to you or the same or alternative accommodation (depending on availability) being made available at a later date.

What is the nearest airport serving the Bodrum Peninsula?
| Officially named the Milas-Bodrum Airport (airport code: BXN), everybody calls it simply Bodrum Airport. The modern airport, built during the late 1990s, is 36 km (21 miles) northeast of Bodrum, 16 km (10 miles) south of Milas, just north of the Güllük intersection (Map) The International Terminal (Dis Hatlar) and Domestic Terminal (Iç Hatlar) are about 1 km apart, separated by grassy fields. It's about a 15-minute walk across the fields between the terminals, longer if you walk on the roads. Unless you are part of an organized tour being met by a bus or minibus, you'll probably have to take an expensive airport taxi. Find other travelers with whom to split the cost. Buses and minibuses run frequently along the highway 2 km (1.25 miles) east of the International terminal, but you'll have to walk to get to the highway. | |
