| Tuzla Lake lies in the deep natural harbour of Mandalya Bay close to the traditional fishing village of Bogazici. This is the unique point where Tuzla lake unites with the sea in the gulf of Gulluk. As well as an abundance of wildlife, Tuzla also holds an important place in history. Ruins of the ancient city of Bargilia, including a Roman Temple can be seen scattered over this area of breath taking beauty and calm. The first 12 of 18-holes at Vita Park Golf Resort, the Milas-71, opened in mid-July 2008. The remainder are due to open in a few months time.
Flamingo Country Club also serves the active amongst you with our own 6-hole practice golf course and driving range, tennis, volleyball and basketball. The private beach also provides guests with access to water sports including water skiing, scuba diving, snorkerling and fishing. In the lower photo here you can actually see Flamingo Country Clup properties nestling on the backdrop of the hillside just a few minutes drive away. There are two ways of reaching Vita Park from Flamingo, the coast road follows the contours of the hillside passing through small villages. Here you will find a couple of lovely restaurants and bars befor passing across the causeway and on to the D330 highway. The alternative is a shorter drive down passed fields of Olive trees again joinng the D330 after about 5 minutes or so. No matter what you choose to do today, there's always tomorrow to look forward to. |
